50 attempts is a pretty low bar
Sometimes the lowest bars do the heaviest lifting.

NFL acknowledges the Lions by having them open the season in prime time vs. the Chiefs at Arrowhead! :flex:

But why didn't they pick the bears, packers or vikings?
But why didn't they pick the bears, packers or vikings?
Probably because the Bears suck and the Chiefs will play the ViKINGS and Packers on the road.

That is precisely why, but nobody cares about the bears.

Good to see the Lions get some national coverage. I fear the narrative is going to change much when KC throttles them the first game. Hopefully the next couple games for Lions are easier opponents. Don't need another 1-6 start.

On the other hand, imagine the narrative if they keep it close or squeak out a road win??

hairysasquatch 05-11-2023 10:02 AM

Packers having that many games in prime time suggests the NFL learned nothing from its effort last season to force-feed everyone the Broncos. Yeesh.

Deep analysis of the schedule. What a world!

The Lions are the straw that stirs the drink in the North!

Let's be real here....

The NFC North is the straw that stirs the NFL drink.

Some initial thoughts on things that don't really matter with the schedule:

It'll be fun to see which version of the Lions show up in KC.
Did Jordan Love inherit Rodgers's ownership of the Bears? We'll find out week one.
Rodgers first game in NY is on 9/11, which we know he definitely does not subscribe to a conspiracy theory on.

Seems reasonable. Straws in drinks are worthless, the glass holds it together and you drink the liquid.
