I was amazed at how far Barnes was allowed to run without dribbling but the NBA man, they don't care about travels. |
Giannis has parallels of David Robsinon's career pre TD. Mind blowing numbers, season MVP and DPOY who couldn't meet expectations in the postseason.
I don't expect things to change for the Bucks, teams already have a blueprint on how to contain him. They need an elite, take over closer when Gianni's stagnates on offense, a picture we've all accustomed to see in the playoffs- Jrue and Middleton aren't it, even if you combine both, IMO. One can only dream but from a basketball fan perspective, it would be amazing if Lillard and Giannis somehow finds a way to teamup.

That's a good comparison. Looking back, the 1994-95 Spurs really blew it. They were 62-20 facing a 47-35 Rockets team in the Western Conference Finals. I have to think they'd have also beaten the Magic in the Finals (Rockets swept them). Then the following year, the 1995-96 Spurs were 59-23 and got the 2 seed, but lost in the 2nd round.
Interesting comparison. Not too far off. I like it. I mean Robinson and the Spurs were getting beaten by the Rockets, Jazz and Phoenix. 3 pretty incredibly tough teams. The West was loaded. Ultimately Giannis hasn't been good enough to take his team to the next level, just like the Admiral who got outplayed by Hakeem in his absolute prime. Can Giannis find that other guy that puts him in the Finals? I hope so. |
Anyone else feel like BI is the best overall player right now on the Pelicans? And going even further in that he’s a top 10 player in the league? Or am I sailing this boat alone?
|
Duncan Robinson is the greatest basketball player of all time
|
Ingram’s game has grown so much this couple of years, his confidence is dipping to Superstar levels. I won’t be surprised if his name starts getting into Top 10 convo by the end of the year.
|
Can’t remember the last time Zion touched the ball

Oh man, didnt see your post. Yeah, glad I’m not the only that sees it. He’s really solidifying himself as a true 1st option type of player. Love watching his game. |
Zion doesn’t seem to be putting himself in positions to get the ball, kinda just settles in with the defense and moves around with not a lot of purpose so far, was hoping it would look good today as I do wish him well but so far just a couple of layups.

How did Nunn go from rookie of the year finalist to also ran? Or is he hurt?

I’ve felt he was on the cusp for years. Super talented player. |
Zion is a man amongst boys.

Hehe, his shot is so silky. Zion and BI are starting to warm up too, though... |
Ingram's shot over Bam was ridic, he really has improved overall.
Lonzo's shot is definitely improved as well, he's really got a much quicker release now too. |
Gonna be fun to see how Wiseman measures up athletically to Giannis.
|
Lonzo ball is awful
|
Precious looks like a good pick, for the Heat

all the balls are awful dad included

Ingram going for 40+
|
Ingram is pulling the Pels back into this game while Zion rests. Killin it
|
I hate saying this as a Celtics fan, but I think Ingram is better than Tatum right now.
|
Bledsoe is more of a detriment to this team than Lonzo. Way more.
|
New Orleans sucks after Ingram and Zion. They don’t have even one other player who should be a starter in the league.

Um, excuse me.... Their depth is quite shallow, and Bledsoe sucks (has for years), but your statement is not entirely accurate... |
