I just bought one of these for $200 at my LCS last week. Thought it was worth the gamble to chase Vladdy, Tatis or Soto.

It was a blood bath.

The last one sold through PWCC (or someone) for just under $1,000. That’s going seem like a bargain now.

I have two boxes that i bought for $150 each...


I did as you said and watched some breaks a few days ago...some of these are pretty rough for the price point.

Sold one for $290, and still have the other.

I need to get to a game in Manchester NH soon before this kid get's bumped up!

Just pulled the trigger on 5 Hobby boxes @ $150 each. My LCS still had these around. Now I just need to stay strong and not open myself.

Trout base gems go for $8-9k for PSA and $6-$7.5k for BGS.

If he becomes a perennial All-Star he has all the making to be a hobby star. The hype is already there, and he has the "it" factor. His father was adored and that helps a lot.

That should tell you how crazy his current prices are. The risk of a great collapse in prices far outweighs a small potential uptick in price.
