Sorry for OT, but FWIW I expect BDPP regular Hobby to be extremely soft as wax sellers will be profiting from Jumbos & Super Jumbos and dumping the regular Hobby they had to buy to get the Jumbos at a rate that will exceed demand.

I think it is a refractor the regular cards scan much more dull looking, like a dark gray

They already are. It is selling for less than wholesale already on eBay so it is definitely being used as a loss leader for many big buyers.

I know I have 4 left that I'd like to move but might just eBay a group break or something like that.

My cases are coming tomorrow but I stopped by the LCS to try 1 box. Clowney Auto and lots of base color (5 different color/parallels all together). Based on what some are saying about the autos I may have gotten lucky.

Still unsure what I want to do with my damned cases coming in.

Anyone have an idea of how many sets I'd probably put together from 2 cases on relatively normal collation?

not 100% sure, but i'm thinking it's somewhere around 4 sets per case...... that's what valor was (with cards left over). and the makeup is similiar... chrome actually has a few less cards than valor so maybe 3?

Ouch!!!!! so probably less than 500 base/color autos in 10,000+ cases, people are going to get burned bad by this product if past years estimated production numbers were correct and they more than tripled production for this year.

The feedback I received was 2.5 sets per case if collation is decent.

This, figure 70 base cards per box. That's 840 total, and collation is not perfect. I'd be hoping for 3, but mathematically no chance at 4.

I know there are a lot of reasons, and I mean a LOT, to be disappointed with this product. To add on top of it, I just found out my shipment was moved from arriving tomorrow to now showing up on Friday. However, even with all the negativity surrounding the release this year....I'm still excited to have some fun opening a couple of cases of this. I've already let go of the idea of coming out ahead on it and I'm just ready to relax and have some fun opening packs of cards..... back to the simplicity of it all. Good luck everyone!

This is how I feel, even though I probably won't be getting any cases. Chrome is the whole reason I got back into the hobby, and I'm excited. So many chances to pull some Browns players, too!
