Was just going to mention this, good summary.
Also, just to expand on autos, there are 1200 autos per 50 cases so that's about 12 per player. As mentioned earlier though some guys will be more SP and insert autos will take some of those so I use 11 autos per 50 cases as a measuring stick. Some will get close to 20, others will get much less.

Damn you since those Glass were a hidden objective I recently decided to obtain, but was holding off for a slightly more of a discount. I just got greedy.

So, ~800 cards after the 15% discount and pp fees that’s $6 card not counting any autos. This was a great value buy!

Yep, good point - I thought I had the refractors but apparently there was a cut and paste error at some point as I was formatting the post. Ha. Will edit the post to include.


Base Chrome Cards @ 6:1 pack = 28,800 total; checklist is 200 cards, so ~144 "expected" per player per half
Chrome Card Refractors @ 2:1 pack = 9,600 total; checklist is 200 cards, so ~48 "expected" per player per half
Plus any color/variations (where applicable)

1200 autos but don't forget that includes all the insert autos. I just dug up last year's 100-case Draft tracker and just to use that as an example, there were 1230 autos (some extra product was added) and 86 of them were inserts, so almost bang on 7%. :)! So call that roughly 11 per player on the prospect autos (base+ref+color) instead of 12.

Here's the breakdown I got from running some numbers

~800 Base, 38 #'d parallels with 88% chance of red, 18% chance of Super. Of course, I don't think I've seen any parallels so Topps may have done something Topps-y like forgot to pack them out.

I also tallied an estimated 9 "base" autos and 15-16 parallel autos with a relatively decent chance at hitting a red auto or super auto.

Seemed like a high enough floor for me.

I think this is a huge win for you and if you get a 2 to 4 nice autos you’ll crush this spot. What I was trying to figure out was the price for the 18 card set. Clearing $100 to $125 per set was my planning factor.

Thanks for the encouraging words! Yeah, I was torn between this and the Tai Peete Auto slots (mentioning only now that he's been taken). Peete certainly has a higher ceiling but I preferred the presumably-higher floor here.
