Thats the one I was in. Had Orioles, got skunked. whoever had the red sox crushed it. We got screwed out of an auto and he said the dual auto counts as 2 autos lol. He looked for a serial number on every purple, treated blue borders like trash, etc. Was my first time breaking with them, was the only heritage break i could find with the orioles.

I got five blasters this year (along with the two hobby boxes) - one blaster was a chrome hot box that also had a Goldschmidt Jersey card. Three were duds with nothing worth mentioning and the fifth (and last) had a Trout mini /100.

What was the deal with the dual auto?

When to buy some supplies at the LCS and saw a freshly opened case of this sitting out - so I bought my first hobby box in probably 10 years.

A really fun bust, it was great to be able to go slow, see what I could discover, etc. Ended up doing pretty well:

I had the red sox, cases have anywhere from 2-3 auto's so didn't get shorted an auto. A lot of cases I have seen have 2. They have 2 breakers with SBB and 1 of them doesn't know much about cards. I watched the break on youtube and from the sound of it someone in chat said that maybe the dual counted as 2.

I picked both the Syndergaard auto's (Blue Ink ~ $50, Red Ink ~$100) last week and both arrived. I checked them of the list and started hunting for the others - yellow back, flip, blue, purple...etc.

Saw a Syndergaard blue auto for $50 w BO over the weekend and threw a low ball out there and he accepted.

Love it when that happens.

I also got the Blue & Red Autos ($50 & $75 :)!).

From there, I bought the Color Swap & The Blue /50. I pulled the Action SP, the chrome ref /568 & the base SP. Next, A buddy traded me the base Jersey.

I only have a few left to go. I want to pull the trigger on the Gold, but my wife would shoot me after all the Syndergaards, Bryants & busting a case and a half. Her commonsense keeps my PC less dope...

Not sure if I will go after the grey, yellow or flip. They just don't do it for me...

I've gone back and forth on the golds myself. The 2016 and 2017 have been listed for $199 a piece and I've almost pulled trigger.

I could have gotten the red auto for cheaper but I used a BIN option to just get it out of the way. lol

Out of curiousity, what product is everyone hyped for next? I've been looking at sell sheets and was thinking about Bowman, Archives, A&G, and Chrome....after much deliberation, I'm gonna bank on this rookie class producing and preordered some Chrome Hobby. Long wait, but I think it could be good and chrome should look nice on this years design

Question for the older Heritage buffs. 14 High number. I was able to acquire a case today for a song and dance.

This is 24 Sets with 1 auto per. Mostly known for the Betts on card autos, it does have a decent checklist with guys like Panik, Abreu and Degrom. Also has some other mid teir type guys.

I don't want to ask the question, but I am assuming this is a much better hold then a rip?

Red Sox are one best teams to get in a break...
Heritage should be broken like a fine wine or good beer. Slowly enjoy it.

I really like ginter!!! That and heritage are my favs. Topps chrome I like some just for colors.
Ginter is having gold mini retail exclusives. Not sure if it's target blaster thing. Those will be fun!

I really thought about Ginter but I've never been a fan of minis and seems like a lot of work if trying to list to sell off non PC stuff.

North of that. Lets just say for about $100 more then a case of this years heritage is going. The Mookie base RC in each set can get near $20 ea. Remember 24 autos per case. Looking for someone who might have ripped this in 14 that has some insight. Redemptions likely expire soon as well. (towards the end of the year). Abreu was a redemption.

at $40 a set i'd hold or pop the case seal and sell the sets individually

So now Heritage has been out for a while any body have a guess on SSP print runs?

Some are known but how about the others, lets go based off 3125 hobby cases w/24 packs =84000 packs and ( about 15,000 retail stores worldwide) retail hanger boxes ? Blasters? Hanger packs? Single packs? (My guess for the math lets say retail there are 291,000 packs). If there are a total of 375,000 packs total

Throwback at 375000 packs/5000 odds/15 subjects = 5 copies
Error at 375000 packs/1057 odds/5 subjects = 70 copies
Traded at 375000 packs/1057 odds/7 subjects = 50 copies

This is only speculation and would appreciate any more info or math corrections necessary.

There are a couple more redemptions but not big names, they will be expiring at the end of the year. Not sure if it's worth your time to break them at that price.
