This team is damn stacked. Will be tough to beat in a 7 game series during the east playoffs. I see them coming out of the east
I can't see them losing any series they have home court advantage in. Get to that 2 seed and there's a shot they don't have to worry about it. |
They have to and they should get to the 2 seed. 2 home games v Boston, Kyrie might not play, and 2 of last 3 games reg season are vs Chicago lol.
Redick might have a lot of 8-13 shooting nights with the floor spacing. Scott and Ennis will shoot better than 3-13. I don't trust Milwaukee to win 3 series in a row. That team hasn't done anything yet in the playoffs and only has the one superstar as great as he is. |

Kind of ironic to say you don’t trust the bucks to win three series cause they haven’t done anything in the playoffs when the Sixers haven’t done anything either. Sixers fans should pump the breaks a little. Raptors have owned philly this year (3-1). Boston is the most playoff experienced team and the bucks are probably the “best” team. |
Bucks will be improved once Miro gets going. Definitely pump the brakes. The top 5 in the East are all tough outs.

And what has Philly done? Beat Miami and lose in 5 to the Celtics without Kyrie and Hayward? |
The Bucks dont have that difficult of a remaining schedule either. Bulls twice, Hawks twice, Cavs twice, and a heavy home schedule the last few weeks of the season. As long as Giannis doesnt sit out any more games for rest, the Bucks have been nearly unbeatable in games where he does play.

I don't think anybody is saying that the 76ers are going to walk right into the Finals, but they've looked damn good even when just Simmons, Butler and Embiid have all played together.
And now you are adding Tobias, Boban, and Scott into the mix and those guys are instantly fitting right in. Yet to really see if Ennis and J. Simmons will be effective. But adding Tobais changes a big dynamic, in that now you have 5 legit offensive players on the floor and you create match up nightmares. First, you need to defend Embiid. Or try to. Next, decide which athletic forward will guard Simmons. So now it's likely that your two best defenders are already tasked. Then you have to choose which two guys out of your remaining 2 guards and 1 forward is going to guard the 6'8" Butler and the 6'9" Harris, and who is going to be chasing around JJ Reddick all game. You can't hide any of your offensive players while they are on D the way that teams like Golden State try to do. Depending on how this team gels on defense, they'll be tough to beat. |
Good to see Boban out there...and Simmons
Miss both :( |

Raptors have ibaka and Gasol to throw at Embiid, siakam and Kawhi will guard butler and Simmons. Danny green who is a great defender will not have any problems with Harris and that leaves Lowry to defend JJ. I’m not a bucks fan but from the games I have watched they have a great defensive team. I’m surprised at how good of a wing defender middleton is. He’s boardering on elite. Guys like Ersan and snell (snell blurs the line between hard nosed and dirty lol) coming off the bench are great defenders, plus Lopez is playing some great defensive basketball and playing well as a rim defender. Celtics are loaded with defenders. I’m not trying to knock philly but I’m a little surprised at all the talk of philly being the favourite in the east right now. It’s not just philly fans saying it either. I get it they looked great last night but it was against the Lakers....the extremely checked out lakers. |
nice to see once again Boston OWNS this team
once again Philly fails time and time again to make a statement and prove that they are a team capable of making a run to Finals..............no Kyrie and Boston beats them............again..........and again...........and again team to beat in the East my ass |
As a celts fan Philly don't scare me at all, just won away without kyrie and terry played awful
|
Tobias doesn't really offer much else when his 3 point shot isnt falling.

Good scorer, but i think adding him affects jimmy |
What a pick up Tobias Harris was. Dude is legit.
|
The Sixers are the team to beat in the east. Raptors are the only team that's gonna have a shot in a 7 game series

Really blows that we are playing a warriors team coming off 2 straight loses. Too good of a team to keep losing, ofcourse they will get out of that funk tonight playing a really good Sixers team. Still hoping 6ers hand them their 3 straight. Doesn't help Embid is still out. Go Sixers!

Klay is out. Wouldn't shock me at all if you guys win tonight. |
Warriors are suuuuucking.
No Klay hurts, but no Embiid either. |

Philly vs GS will be a ratings hit. So much talent. I think Toronto vs GS would also he an incredible series. |
Simmons with 18 at the half!
Man he can turn it on. |

But it would not surprise me to see Philly take it. They're so frontloaded when their starters are healthy. Don't care who it is, as long as we see a new champion crowned. |
