Is anyone else seeing a printing error of base cards in retail?

In some of the packs, there were 2 cards whose back were much darker than normal. But not gray. It's not the gray parallel.

In fact, the cards fade from dark to "regular" from top to bottom.

Just trying to figure out what to do with these base cards, or if I've got a super-duper ebay 1/1 situation here.

I think I've had bad luck buying Heritage this year. I've spent nearly $2K thus far and I've only received 3 packages. :( Lots of sellers are taking their sweet time sending out. Some $300+ cards that sellers are taking 5-6 days after payment before finally sending out. Sort of frustrating!

also opened 7 more Target Hangers, got skunked. those seem to be dry this year. If not for the free flagship pack, i'll stick with Target Blasters

I see a lot of the 1968 topper packs with a 1968 topps card inside selling for like 3 bucks. I would think that would be a great deal for a 68 topps card. Why so cheap? Are they searchable?

Most are not in great condition. If you do an ebay search for 1968 commons in VG to EX condition they only sell for a couple of bucks. Stars sell for more of course, but it seems most are commons. I've yet to hit a star in good shape over the years.

Yes me too, I have been scanning the boards and the bay as well to figure out if there are some sort of added two tone brown backs, or just common printing issues. Curious as well what to do with these. Got 11 in just one or maybe two packs from target. None in the rest. I can't remember specifically, because I had bought quite a few different blasters, jumbos, hangers, and loose packs. But I think they all came out of 1 jumbo, or 1 hanger. Thought it was interesting because they looked so distinctive from the other cards that it didn't seem like just a little printing error. Thinking it was just a common retail printing mistake, but if it is something else let me know. Just strange that they were all in one pack.

there are other posts in this thread and other places about these, just printing errors, but some could have a slight demand
some have been on ebay too, but lots of variances

cheap, last year they sold around $7-$8 each sealed
not sure why so much lower this year
especially considering there is at least 1 Ryan RC in there
