What happened to him??
Imagine if he did sign that 500 mill contract
I think he would be in a better place. I still believe when Tatis comes back he will go on fire. .350 here we come! |
Wake me up, before you Soto, don't leave me hanging like Juan Solo.
He better start walking more...he is almost even with his K's (15-14). Hope springs eternal...maybe Nando will help. Vamos, Juan! |

He should come back home to DC where he’s loved.

We need the old Hansoto...
It’s getting to a point where people get more pleasure out of mocking and writing players off than rooting for them. Two weeks in and here we are. I get it, we want him to be MVP level hitter, I really do. Don’t worry, there’s always another minor league phenom to hope is an all time great. If all the bittermen in this thread were to sell everything and dump it in to Chourio or whatever at least you could be hopeful again.
Major League Baseball is hard.
I agree, Dairy Queen just added a Chourio ice cream candy shell dip that is amazing. Probably terrible for you in the long run, but like “right now right now” it’s a good buy. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

TBP sees him in blue pins. He loves this slacker Jack slump right now. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
Is this his contract year?
I think he would be in a better place. I still believe when Tatis comes
back he will go on fire. .350 here we come!
Him and Boras should have made a better effort to get something done with Washington. I’m sure the contract pressure is hanging over him. Regardless, he needs to start hitting. He looks like crap. |
Within the last 10 days..... It's over Soto ----> he has returned!!!!! -----> It's over Soto!
Soto is okay. He is in a slump right now. |
You guys saying it’s been ten days must simply be in denial. It’s been 10 days in 2023 and all of 2022. I’ve been watching his at bats. He’s cooked. Done. At this point in his career juan can take a walk and hit meatballs right down the middle. Tatis isn’t going to change his head. While he’s still young and certainly talented I’m not under any belief he’s the best hitter in the game any longer. It’s more like he probably never was. It’s like a band that has a brilliant first album but can’t put it together again.
Now isn’t the time to buy he’s way overpriced to performance even at 50-70% off of peak. Hold/fade Juan and move on the the next young talent. |

There is a tremendous of optimism in here.
As a collector of Juan Loto, I hope that you all are right… …but it is awfully hard to ignore the okay-ness that has been Juan during the SD era. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Oh for the love of God no!!!! The only way thing than Shohei going to the Dodgers would be Juan! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
This is obviously a ridiculous exaggeration when even low tier prospects gold 1st sell for high value. But I believe you’ll be able to get Beckett gem Juan’s base 1st for under $1,000 pretty soon here. Would be a poor place to put that kind of money but it’ll be there for you! |
Tried to buy a TAG Jaun Soto:
https://ebay.com/itm/394558810350 But bids were cancelled, listing ended. "This listing was ended by the seller because the item was lost or broken." Thought it might go for ~$70. Relisted, $150 obo: https://ebay.com/itm/394570795921 Seller turned down my $44 offer  |

No I want established major leaguers. Not prospects. I’ve bought plenty of “average” BCA golds for under 1k. Juans BCA gold should be there soon if not already if he’s just average. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
Wonder how much money people are losing on Soto! Guy has been in decline the past two seasons and now only hitting 182. RIP Soto cards.
|
If juan continues at this level performance the gold 1st will find its way to affordability. Under 220 as a padre with what a dozen home runs since the trade? Season to date he has more runs than hits (think about that!). I think us Soto fans would feel it’s a step in the right direction if he could get to ‘just average’.
